ventilation is more important
than insulation

Background carbon dioxide levels are around 410ppm.
Good Indoor Air Quality Standards limits carbon dioxide levels to under 800ppm.
Poor Indoor Air Quality starts when carbon dioxide levels rise above 1,200ppm.
Carbon Dioxide is used to track Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and other pollutants.

We have modelled an Executive Office and Double Bedroom for your review. Our models reflect actual data recording of Carbon Dioxide Levels in Bedrooms and Offices. In naturally ventilated spaces occupants are expected to open windows immediately upon occupation.

Indoor air quality is around 2 to 5 times worse than outdoor air quality. Poor indoor air quality is linked in the short term to headaches, fatigue, poor concentration and the increased spread of colds and flu. In the long term it is a contributory factor in many major diseases.

Studies show that adding mechanical ventilation to offices to provide good air quality costs around £1,000 per person and leads to productivity gains of around £3,000 per person, giving a payback of around 4 months.

Sleep
Your body uses sleep to turn what you have learned that day into memories, repair itself and flush harmful chemicals from the brain.
Sleep basically makes you stronger, healthier and smarter.

C02 levels can rise from 500 ppm to a very unhealthy 3,400 ppm after just 2 hours if doors and windows are kept shut. Poor air quality degrades the performance of your brain and the quality of your sleep
